Bihar BEd CET Exam 2026

Bihar BEd CET 2026 serves as the primary entrance gateway for candidates pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in Bihar. Conducted annually in offline mode, this exam evaluates applicant proficiency in general awareness, aptitude, and teaching methodology. Securing a qualifying score is a mandatory prerequisite for entry into the 2-year B.Ed program or the Shiksha Shastri course within the state.

Bihar BEd CET Exam 2026 Eligibility Creteria

Only applicants who meet the mandatory educational qualifications and eligibility criteria defined by the conducting commission are permitted to register for the Bihar BEd CET 2026 examination.

Educational Qualification

To qualify for admission into the 4-year B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed. Integrated Course, candidates must satisfy the following educational benchmarks:

Eligibility Requirements for the Two-Year B.Ed. Course:

• Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) or a Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanities/ Commerce or a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics.

Eligibility Requirements for Shiksha Shastri Admission:

• Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/Archarya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra
• Candidates with a minimum 50% marks in Two Years Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) and Acharya (First Year) or M.A. (First Year in Sanskrit) (OR)
• Candidates with a minimum 50% marks in Two Year Shastri or B.A. (including Sanskrit Subject) must complete a one-year bridge course to be eligible for Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed. 2026)

• Candidates must answer 120 multiple-choice questions.
• The maximum marks allotted are 120.
