To secure one of the 1,265 Clerk vacancies, candidates must clear a two-stage selection process. The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is qualifying in nature, and the final merit list will be determined entirely by the scores achieved in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Haryana Court Clerk Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
The CPT is conducted to evaluate candidates' practical computer operation skills. This proficiency assessment consists of two distinct parts.
- Part 1 – Candidates have to qualify the Spreadsheet Test for 10 marks and of 10 minutes duration, by securing 40% or more, i.e., 4 or more marks
- Part 2 – Candidates will have to qualify for the Computer Typing Test in English at the speed of 30 W.P.M.
