Following the successful release of the first three merit lists, India Post has officially published the HP GDS 4th Merit List 2026 on June 8, 2026, at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. This supplementary list addresses remaining vacancies in the Himachal Pradesh circle, specifically for positions that stayed unfilled after previous candidates were disqualified, failed the document verification (DV) process, or did not join by the deadline.

Shortlisted candidates appearing in the 4th Merit List must complete their document verification at the designated Divisional Office no later than June 23, 2026. As with all previous rounds, the selection process remains merit-based, derived exclusively from Class 10th (Matriculation) examination scores; no written test or interview is conducted for GDS recruitment.

How to Check the Himachal Pradesh GDS Result 2026?

1. You can check the official India Post GDS portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in or at indiapost.gov.in.
2. Click on “GDS Online Engagement” and choose “Schedule-I, January 2026”.
3. Select the Postal Circle for Himachal Pradesh from the list of circles.
4. Click on the “Supplementary List” link relevant to you – List I, II, III or the latest List IV.
5. The merit list PDF opens in a new window. Then press Ctrl+F and type your 7 digit Registration Number or name.
6. If your name/registration no. appears, write down the Division and make a note of the verification date/venue written against it.
