The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invited online applications to fill 7,365 Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT) vacancies across participating banks for the 2027–28 session. The application editing window is open for a limited 2-day period on 29th and 30th July 2026.

IBPS PO 2026 Online Application Fee

Only application forms with successfully processed online exam fees (via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI) are considered valid. The IBPS PO 2026 application fee is Rs. 850 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and Rs. 175 for SC, ST, and PWBD candidates.

Applications are exclusively accepted if the exam fee is paid successfully through online channels (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI). Please note that application fees and intimation charges are strictly non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for any other examination.

Pre-Requisites for IBPS PO 2026 Online Application

According to the official notification, candidates must keep the following documents and details prepared before filling out the form:

• A scanned copy of the photograph in the permissible size.
• A scanned copy of the signature should not be in capital letters.
• Live photograph capture during registration (new requirement for 2026).
• Left thumb impression (if unavailable, alternative impressions as specified in the official notification may be used).
• Scanned copy of the handwritten declaration.
• Graduation mark sheet/degree certificate details, with result declared on or before 21st July 2026.
• Valid ID proof and, where applicable, DigiLocker-linked documents for verification (new for 2026).

Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website at www.ibps.in or use the direct application link provided above. 

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the left-hand sidebar and click on the "CRP PO/MT" tab.

Step 3: On the redirected page, click on the notification reading “Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XV”.

Step 4: Click on the active link designated as “Click here to Apply Online for Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XIII CRP PO/MT-XV”.

Step 5: Select the CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION link located at the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 6: You will be directed to the initial section of the application form. Enter your basic information accurately and click the Save and Next button at the bottom of the page.

Step 7: Proceed to the second section of the application form to upload your scanned photograph and signature according to the specified guidelines.

Step 8: Verify that your photograph and signature are properly uploaded, then click Next.

Step 9: Enter your detailed candidate information. This comprehensive section comprises three distinct sub-sections that must be completed.

Step 10: Provide your educational qualifications and professional work experience, then select your preferred exam centers (choose up to 4 locations) before clicking Save and Next.

Step 11: Thoroughly review the application preview to correct any potential errors. Once submitted and saved, data modifications will no longer be permitted. Therefore, double-check all entered information before proceeding.

Step 12: Choose your preferred online payment method to pay the IBPS PO 2026 application fee. All transactions must be completed digitally via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or other enabled online gateways.

IBPS PO 2026 Edit Window & Correction Fee

IBPS provides a 2-day edit window following the close of registration, allowing candidates to make limited modifications to their submitted applications upon paying a uniform Rs. 200 correction fee (inclusive of GST), which is non-refundable. Key details such as Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, State/UT, Post, and Nationality cannot be modified during this window. Category changes are restricted exclusively from General/EWS/OBC to SC/ST/PwBD and cannot be reversed; previously paid fees will not be refunded due to category adjustments.
