NABARD Grade A Salary 2026

The initial basic pay for a NABARD Grade A Officer is Rs. 44,500/- p.m. within the pay scale of Rs. 44500 – 2500 (4) – 54500 – 2850 (7) – 74450 – EB – 2850 (4) – 85850 – 3300 (1) – 89150 (17 Years). An annual increment of Rs. 2,500 is applied for the first four years. Subsequently, structured increments follow for the remaining years, culminating in a maximum basic pay of Rs. 89,150 for an Assistant Manager. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-.

NABARD Grade A Salary Structure

The starting basic pay for the NABARD Grade A 2026  structure has been revised to Rs. 44,500, supplemented by Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance, Family Allowance, and Grade Allowance. NABARD Grade A Probation Period

Upon recruitment into NABARD, candidates undergo comprehensive training and a mandatory probation period of 2 years (extendable by 1 additional year). Trainees receive detailed orientation regarding their job roles and responsibilities during this period. Upon successful completion of probation, they are confirmed as Assistant Managers and posted to regional NABARD offices.

Once posted as an Assistant Manager, you will be assigned to a department aligned with your professional qualifications. At the regional NABARD office, you will report directly to the Chief General Manager (CGM).
