• Part A: Punjabi Language which is qualifying in nature consists of 50 questions, one mark each with no negative marking.
• Part B: Candidates must score a minimum of 50% or 25 marks in Part A, to get evaluated in Part B, In this part candidates will complete the 100 questions with one mark each and there will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark. Punjab Patwari Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Scale Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with an initial starting salary of Rs. 19,900 per month. During the one-year institutional training and six-month field training, trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000, consistent with Punjab government regulations.
