Under the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, TGT teachers are entitled to a 4600 pay grade with a pay scale ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400.

1. Rationalized Entry Pay: 44900
2. Corresponding 7th CPC Pay Scale: 44900-142400
3. Gross Salary: 58000-67000 per month.
4. Cash in Hand Salary without Income Tax: 52700-61700 per month.

UP PGT Salary Structure

Based on the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix, PGTs are entitled to a 4800 pay grade under Level 8, with a salary range of Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100. As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level–8 employee will receive a salary starting from Rs. 47,600. This means successful candidates will receive a starting salary of Rs. 47,600 plus Dearness Allowance (DA) and other statutory allowances.
