The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially released the provisional answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 on 8th July 2026. The UPTET Answer Key is now available for all aspirants who successfully appeared for Paper 1 (Classes 1–5) and Paper 2 (Classes 6–8).

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 was conducted on July 2, 3, and 4, 2026, in offline (OMR-based) mode across 955 examination centres spanning 60 districts. A total of 17,70,714 candidates appeared for Paper 1 (Primary Level, Classes 1-5) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level, Classes 6-8). • Incorrect Answer: 0 Mark
• Unattempted Answer: 0 Mark

How to Calculate Your Score?

Since the UPTET features no negative marking policy, calculating your probable score is simple and straightforward:

• Award +1 mark for every answer that matches the official/unofficial answer key.
• 0 marks for incorrect answers.
• 0 marks for unattempted questions (no deduction).
• Add up the total to get your score out of 150 marks (both Paper 1 and Paper 2 carry 150 marks each).

Formula: Estimated Score = (Number of Correct Answers) × 1

How to Raise an Objection Against the Answer Key?

If you discover any discrepancies or incorrect answers in the provisional key, you can submit an online objection through the official portal within the designated window provided by UPESSC. Follow these guidelines to raise challenges:

1. Visit the official UPESSC website and open the UPTET Exam Portal.
2. Log in using your registration number, password, and the captcha code.
3. Click on the link to file objections against the provisional answer key.
4. Select your question booklet set and enter the question number you wish to challenge.
5. Select the answer option you believe is correct, and add supporting remarks.
6. Upload a clear scanned copy of proof from a standard NCERT or SCERT textbook supporting your claim.
7. Pay the objection fee of approximately ₹500 per question through the online payment gateway.
8. Submit the form. The fee is refunded if your objection is accepted by the subject expert panel.
9. After reviewing all objections, UPESSC will release the final answer key, which will form the basis for preparing the UPTET Result 2026.
